Acquisition of UV Light Technology by Daro Group
UV Light Technology (‘UVLT’) are pleased to announce that the Company has been acquired by Daro Group Limited (‘Daro’).
Daro, established in 2000, is an engineering group based in Sudbury, Suffolk, operating across 3 sites and employing c.55 people. Daro has extensive manufacturing capabilities as well as two specialist divisions; Lighting and UV & Water. UV Light Technology will form part of the Daro UV & Water division, led by Kevin Thomson.
As with UV Light Technology, Daro’s UV & Water division has decades of experience in a wide range of UV applications, including UVC Water Treatment and UVC Air & Surface Disinfection. UV Light Technology will leverage the wider Groups resources to accelerate development of our products and services for our customers.
UV Light Technology will continue to be located in Birmingham however as part of the acquisition, UVLT are moving to modern premises from the 1st May. The new company address will be;

All other company details, including limited company number, VAT and banking, will remain unchanged. Dan Arnold, who has 18 years of experience at UVLT and Daro, will manage and lead the business on a day-to-day basis, providing continuity for our customers and suppliers.
